WellNow Health is now offering an on-site COVID-19 test at our full-service medicine clinics in the Houston, and Dickinson, TX area. Our rapid COVID test will be administered to patients who display symptoms of COVID-19 and patients looking to be cleared for re-entry into the work force and corporate environment. On average it takes 5–6 days from when someone is infected with the virus for symptoms to show. However, it can take up to 14 days. People with mild symptoms, who are otherwise healthy, should self-isolate and those who are experiencing a fever, a cough, and/or difficulty breathing should seek medical attention.

Currently, WellNow Health offers convenient virtual visits, which may include symptomatic COVID-19 evaluations for local individuals. Additionally, these online sessions may be used to address exposure concerns. Our medical personnel will ask a series of questions regarding your symptoms, prior to advising you on any recommended actions. These may include visiting one of our locations for antibody testing or screening for various viruses.

Nasal Swabs- Using a nasal swab, patients will be directly screened for the virus. The COVID nasal swab test will obtain the culture needed. The collected sample will then be sent out and tested to determine if the patient has the coronavirus. 

Blood Work- During the COVID antibody test, a sample of the patient's blood will be drawn and tested to determine if COVID-19 antibodies are present within the immune system. This COVID blood test will indicate whether a patient has had a recent or past COVID-19 infection.

Testing for the coronavirus and antibodies are covered by a patient's health insurance. If the patient does not have health insurance, cash options are available.
